The Trapps

Boy... a lot has gone on since the last post here.

For one, Ike enjoyed his first easter back on April 16th. Ike began that morning by searching for plastic eggs left by the Easter Bunny and was pleasantly surprised to find animal crackers hidden inside. He probably had a few too many animal crackers and was nearly bouncing off the walls by the time we made it to his grandma's house later that morning. It was a pretty warm day (hence the pantless-diaper look) and Isaac was somewhat interested in searching for eggs outside. He didn't get too excited about finding them, but definitely thought it was pretty cool to throw them.

We also went down for opening day at the new Busch Stadium. We didn't have tickets, but we all hung out around the stadium and eventually snuck in after the game ended. I know, sounds pretty lame, but at least we can say we were there on opening day of the new stadium.

Isaac is still babbling like crazy. He says dada quite a bit and throws all sorts of other words in there. He is a big fan of climbing into cabinets (and, as you can tell from the photo, drawers). He doesn't quite walk on his own yet, but he loves walking around while you hold his hands to balance him. He still loves to play with cars and trucks, he loves to throw balls, and he loves to be outside. He's been known to do a little butt naked drumming (wooden spoons on pots). And he also likes to give kisses on the cheek (if you catch him in the right mood).
