Full Steam Ahead
Crawling is now moving full steam ahead. Since early last week, Ike has figured out how to crawl forward. Life for us is quickly changing. No longer can we just set him down and expect to accomplish anything. He instantly heads for whatever he's not supposed to get into. He seems to be especially fond of wires ... computer wires ... telephone wires ... power cables ... it doesn't matter, he just likes wires.
He likes to scoot on his butt. He kind of hops and scoots at the same time. It's pretty funny.
With this newfound freedom, he's also discovered a love for drawers and doors. He can open drawers, close drawers, close drawers on his fingers, and cry about it. Again, this crawling thing is so much fun...
Isaac is just starting to get over a cold he's had for about a week. Ike and I even had our first sick day together last week. Crystal and I have learned that having a cold with a kid that has a cold pretty much sucks.
