Dishwashers are Cool
Isaac has (as I'm sure most crawling infants do) a fascination with the dishwasher. The moment we open the dishwasher door to empty or fill it with items, Ike's eyes light up and he gets a huge smile on his face. Instantly, he's off at full crawling speed.
He mostly doesn't know exactly what to do when he gets there, but last night he tried to put the measuring spoons he was playing with into the dishwasher. Fortunately, we usually close the door before he gets there and he hasn't had many opportunities to try and pull himself up or grab something. And he hasn't started getting upset when we close the door. He just looks around and finds some other "toys" (you know ... wires, drawers ... the usual kid safe stuff) to play with.
