The Trapps

Christmas time was a fun time for the Ikester. With so many relatives around (particularly his young cousins), it was all we could do to make Isaac take a nap. Ike received a buttload of cool things from Santa, his parents, and relatives. He unwrapped cars, trucks, books, weebles, and all sorts of fun toys. As expected, the gifts were only half of the fun; Ike enjoyed playing with the bows nearly as much as any gift he received.

With an hour and a half nap at midnight mass, Ike stayed up until nearly 2:30 am at Grandma’s house on Christmas Eve. He barely took a nap on Christmas Day and stayed up until almost midnight again.

It's always been hard putting Isaac to sleep. He is convinced that he may miss something after he shuts his eyes. Now, after Christmas Eve, he knows the truth. We really do stay up partying, playing with paper, and handing out gifts. He probably thinks he's been right this entire time and we will never never be able to put him to sleep again!
