Hands On
Isaac is learning to do more things with his hands every day. He has mastered the art of sticking his hand in his mouth for sucking (and slobbering) in just a few days. He has since moved onto learning more exciting and, well, not quite so cooperative things. The one he showed me last night while I was changing his diaper (at about 3:30am) is pretty cool. At about day 2, we learned that it made sense to throw a washrag over certain areas of Ike to prevent overspray. While I was changing his diaper, he showed me that he can now remove that washrag, and he thinks it's pretty cool to do so.
He also has some tricks for mealtime. Since he can get pretty bored sitting there by himself, we often hold him in our lap while we eat. He now thinks it's pretty cool to try to grab our plates and stick his hands in our food.
Seems like each time we "figure something out," the rules change!
