First Night Out - Update
Our first night out went very well. We were afraid that Ike couldn't survive without us and would freak out when we left. Fortunately (or unfortunately), Ike didn't seem to miss us much at all and very much enjoyed his time with his grandma. And of course we enjoyed our time out.
Aside from the half hour that Crystal and I spent trying to explain all the details of how to take care of a child to my mom, everything went as planned. Being that she is relatively inexperienced with children (mother of 9, grandmother of dozens), I think my mom found the whole thing pretty amusing.
