Five Weeks
Ike is now five weeks old and heading into his sixth! My, they grow up so fast!
Here are just some of the exciting new developments in the categories that seem to preoccupy most of our time and effort:
Sleep: This has been a hit and miss category. We had a few really good nights and a few really bad nights.
Poop: Cloth diapers are still going well. We are starting to move from newborn sizes to small sizes. We generally have to wash the diapers once every two to three days.
Firsts: He helped make his first batch of beer last Saturday; his umbilical cord is completely off; and he's been doing this thing where his hand tends to make its way up your shirtsleeve while you hold him (my nephew Josh used to do this).
New Equipment: We bought a bouncer seat with the hopes that he would enjoy spending some quality time in it. So far he generally likes it, but only if he's in the right mood.
